As a Buildcam customer, you will be assigned your own US Customer Success Agent, headquartered in Colorado. Your Agent is eager to see your project through to success and field any questions you have.

Both Buildcam and the accompanying solar panel are lightweight and portable, making it easy for a single worker to relocate them to another site.
Buildcam’s standard equipment warranty is for two years, and an extended warranty is available for longer projects.
Buildcam’s warranty includes our Advanced Warranty Replacement service. Should your Buildcam camera stop taking and uploading images, we will ship you out a replacement quickly to get your project up and running again.
Yes. Buildcam provides a video livestream of your jobsite accessible from the HTML5 gallery, on any device.
Buildcam is first and foremost a high-resolution time lapse camera; because Buildcam prioritizes taking photos, you may need to wait for a few minutes for your livestream to begin, depending on the timing of your livestream request. Using livestream won’t disrupt your photos.
Payments, Shipping and Monthly Service
All orders are shipped express, so you can typically expect your order in 2-3 business days.
You can pay for Buildcam with credit card or ACH transfer. 30-day credit terms are available for eligible customers.
All Buildcam features are covered by an all-in-one flat monthly service fee, which includes cellular data usage, gallery access, regular progress videos, and regular 4K timelapse s videos.

Developed in close consultation with professional time lapse photographers, these videos look fantastic, are ideal for marketing, are are delivered straight to your inbox each month.
With Buildcam’s HTML5 photo gallery, you can see all your project photos from start to finish in a single portal.
Use filters to easily find photos from a specific date or time, or the Zoom and Image Compare tools to recognize precise details and changes in photos. You can also change between multiple Buildcam cameras in moments.

Developed in close consultation with timelapse photographers, the AI Timelapse Composer uses the same post-production techniques as the professionals, applying post-production functions at lightning speed via Amazon cloud servers and powerful image-analysis algorithms. The end result is a stunning, well-edited 4K timelapse video, ready for your marketing department.
Photo Storage and Security
Buildcam takes the security of your photos and other data very seriously, and we design our systems accordingly. We’ve invested significantly in creating an ecosystem that stores content according to strict security standards, while at the same time granting easy access to that content by those who are authorised.
All Buildcam images are stored on highly secure Amazon servers, stored passwords are salted and hashed, photos are fully encrypted during secure transfer, photo sharing links are session-limited. All of these factors work together to create watertight security for your photos.
At the conclusion of your project, the Buildcam team can forward all your photos to your choice of cloud storage (e.g. Dropbox or Google Drive).

Yes, it does. Integrating Procore with Buildcam will allow you to push your 24MP Buildcam photos straight into your selected Procore Photos album.

Hardware and Set Up
No, we don’t offer professional installation services, but given a good installation location even non-construction personnel can set up Buildcam quickly and painlessly.
Buildcam set up is fast and easy, even for non-construction personnel. When it’s time to install your system, we’ll have a Customer Success Agent on standby, ready to take your call if you require assistance.
You can mount your Buildcam to a pole or wall, using the included mounting bracket and hose clamps.
Where possible, point the camera north (to avoid the sun shining into the lens) and mount Buildcam in a spot that will keep the whole building in shot even as it grows.
The solar panel should be mounted facing south and at a 45 degree angle. Check that it won’t be in shade at any time of the day or with changing seasons.
If you would like to discuss the mounting location for your specific project, our team is happy to assist.
Buildcam will continue to shoot and upload photos for up to a week on full battery charge, so if you have a few cloudy days and the solar panel is getting little sunlight, that’s no problem.
IP-66 housing protects Buildcam from water and dust ingress. Heavy rainstorms and dusty worksites pose no threat.
Yes. Buildcam equipment has been successfully tested down to 5°F.
Yes. Buildcam equipment has been successfully tested up to 140°F.
